The Chainsmokers are Preparing to Perform at the Edge of Space

The electronic DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers consist of Alexander “Alex” Pall and Andrew “Drew” Taggart. The Chainsmokers Plan to Perform 20 Miles Above Earth’s Surface

Drew and Alex have signed up to get into a pressurized capsule that will be tethered to a stratospheric balloon and lifted into space. This is supposed to happen in a few years when The Chainsmokers will perform some 20 miles above the Earth. This feat would make them the first musical artists to perform at the edge of space. The duo will go on this adventure thanks to a fledgling space tourism company World View. According to the company, The Chainsmokers will be on one of its inaugural flights in 2024. The performance will be recorded from inside the capsule, giving any viewers the ability to experience the trip and music firsthand.
