Fall Out Boy and Weezer Battle It Out On Celebrity Family Feud

If there’s something that’s going to set our little emo hearts on fire, it’s seeing the return of bands like Fall Out Boy and Weezer. While many of their comeback tours have been canceled recently, that doesn’t mean they’ve stepped out of the limelight completely… In fact, two of the biggest emo bands went head to head on Celebrity Family Feud recently.

Fall Out Boy

Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Torhman, and Andy Hurley make up one of the biggest emo bands of all time, Fall Out Boy. Formed in 2001, the band have sold millions of records over the years, with hits such as ‘Thnks fr the Mmrs’ and ‘This Ain’t a Scene, it’s an Arms Race.’ Their seventh studio album released in 2018 peaked at number one, meaning they’re still rocking it two decades later.

Formed in 1992, Weezer aren’t quite as ‘emo’ as Fall Out Boy, but they’re definitely a band most ‘90s and ‘00s kids grew up listening to. Since 2001, the band’s members include Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner. They’re probably most famous for their rock anthem, ‘Buddy Holly,’ from the Blue Album in 1993.

Going Head to Head

In what seems like an unlikely pairing, Fall Out Boy and Weezer decided to go head to head in a celebrity special of Family Feud. Hosted by Steve Harvey, the bands tested their knowledge of the general public with some hilarious questions. Each band had a special guest to help them out, with Fall Out Boy calling on Seth Green and Weezer bringing in engineer and producer Suzy Shinn. The bands took part in the show to raise money for a charity of their choosing, with Weezer supporting Reverb and Fall Out Boy opting for their own charity, The Fall Out Boy Fund.

So, who won this epic battle? You’ll have to watch it to find out!
