In her memoir, Boy Meets World star Maitland Ward has exposed many anecdotes from her time on the ABC hit. While talking about her time in the sitcom, Ward shared details about her bumpy relationship with former co-star Danielle Fishel. According to Ward, Fishel was rude on set during the former's return for Girl Meets World. Apparently, the rift between the former co-stars had widened.

Maitland Ward Visited the Set of Girl Meets World and Met Fishel

The Boy Meets World star shared more info about her feud with Danielle Fishel during an interview. Ward insinuated that the rift between her and Fishel was based on Rachel’s alluring persona, as compared to Topanga’s more buttoned-up appeal. Maitland Ward shared more details about the awkward interaction between the two actresses when she visited the sequel series’ set. According to her, Danielle simply didn't like her. She shared that it started with Girl Meets World and pointed out that when she met her on the set of the sequel, she was ready to hug her but Danielle just greeted her and walked off.

Maitland Ward Praised the Co-Stars She Met on the Set of Girl Meets World

Recalling her visit to the Girl Meets World set, Ward thought back to the Boy Meets World reunion and recounted the love she got from Friedle and Rider Strong at her surprise pop-up. Apparently, the love she got from her male co-stars made the strange interaction with Danielle Fishel even more bizarre to her. Apparently, it was a small reunion for everybody. Ward saw Will and Ryder and they all hugged, so it felt weird to have such a cold interaction with Fishel.

While Maitland Ward will probably never know why Fishel was so cold to her, fans hope things between the two will work out. Meanwhile, Fishel hasn’t addressed Ward’s accusations, but the show’s producers seemingly used to stoke competitive attitudes among the young cast and that might have carried on for some of them.
