When most people go to bed at night, they might worry about whether or not they locked the front door or remembered to turn off the light in the living room. Very few are concerned with whether or not an alien might walk into their room while they’re sleeping. A man in Florida released footage caught by his CCTV of what appears to be an alien-like figure entering his room.

CCTV Footage Shows an Odd Figure

David is a man from Pensacola, Florida. He had a CCTV camera set up above his bed, in one corner of his bedroom, looking out at the door to the room. One night in 2006, the camera caught something odd. While David was sleeping, a strange yellow light appeared in the hallway beyond his bedroom door. A strange, slender figure began to creep up behind the edge of the door frame. Moments later, the humanoid-like figure begins to slowly enter the room while David continues to sleep soundly. Was this a visit from an alien? David seemed to believe it was.

The Footage Was Shown on TV and YouTube

The TV series called The Truth Is Out There brought this footage to light. In the show, it was said that this type of creature is commonly known as a grey alien. It was given this name in lore because it’s often been described as a tall, lanky, and slender creature with grey skin. In the episode, Alexis Brooks, a journalist, said that it’s rare to find an individual with only one extraterrestrial experience. There are usually multiple experiences, often starting in childhood. The clip was also released on YouTube where many people shared comments, mainly expressing skepticism over the content.

The Myth of the Grey Alien

What’s known as the grey alien is often the subject of extraterrestrial abduction stories. A creature of this same description appears in 50% of abduction and sighting claims in Australia, 48% of those in Europe, and 73% in America. The aliens are said to stare into the eyes of their abductees to provoke an emotional response or induce hallucinations.
